animation, writing, painting and much more. Which pretty much means I’ve been living and breathing art my entire life.
I got my foundation in commercial art at the Academy of Arts University of San Francisco and received my Bachelors in Fine Art (BFA) from one of the top three art schools in America, the San Francisco Art Institute.
I started out working in the field of Make-up and Special Effects for film and stage and later worked as a Creative Consultant while I wrote screenplays. My writing placed quarter-finalist or higher in many prominent screenplay competitions including Scriptapalooza and the Nichol’s fellowship and I've had a few shorts produced.
Since art and technology are not mutually exclusive, I began exploring CAD tools as a direction for my creativity. At first I started learning Adobe products, which led to completing a certification course at New York University (NYU) in Advanced Digital Application with Computer Generated Images. This led into web development and eventually I received a Masters of Science (MS) in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) from the Georgia Institute of Technology. HCI is a field that requires expertise as an artist, but also someone who understands computer science and information architecture. As such, for the last several years I have completed contracts with several Fortune 500 companies such as AT&T, Northrup Grumman, Statefarm Insurance, Infosys and more as a Sr. UX Architect and UI Designer. Basically, this means I design interfaces in such a way that makes them intuitive to figure out and easy to use.

I’ve never stopped exploring my creative side and have continued studying the vast and ever-changing field of art. I have been a painter in oils and mixed mediums for years and recently, I’ve been experimenting with textile designs – combining traditional art mediums with digital ones.
